If one wished, a comprehensive view of Mexico City could be taken in through the eyes of one of its most celebrated and influential architects, Luis Barragán, starting with his home. Barragán’s former residence was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, and it’s easy to see why from the its utterly serene and modern spaces. Tours are available only by appointment, and booking ahead is crucial.
