Described by the owners as a “meeting place,” Blanco Colima is a restaurant-and-arts space tucked inside a breathtaking Porfirian-style mansion in Roma Norte. The chicly appointed main dining area (billed as an oyster bar) serves lunch and cocktails, while other parts of the house boast a dinner-only upscale restaurant, called Lázaro, and a macaroon boutique. We recommend a plate of ribeye tacos at the open-air bar. Blanco Colima is equally popular for its film screenings and live music performances, and the scene becomes livelier in the evening hours.
